Each room at our daycare centre is arranged with individual learning centres, and the children have a chance to move through the classroom by selecting the station where they wish to play. Our teachers also provide learning opportunities that revolve around the children’s interests.
Meanwhile, our infant and toddler classrooms offer a warm and nurturing environment with stimulating activities that help nurture the children’s young minds early.
Our pre-school curriculum is based on the unit approach - the curriculum expands as the children grow and develop. A typical day provides daily experiences in art, math, music, science, dramatic play, and language arts. Everyday life includes self-help skills, social skills, physical education, and readiness activities.
School-age children are allowed to complete homework, socialize, and participate in many physical activities. We offer exciting summer camp programs that include field trips, special projects, and arts and crafts.
ENROLLMENT AND PARENT PARTICIPATION
Following strict state and centre policies, Humpty Dumpty Academy requires parents to complete health and enrollment cards upon their children’s enrollment at our daycare centre. The information in these cards will be greatly helpful in determining the proper individual attention the children require. We also encourage parents to notify us of any changes in addresses, contact numbers, place of employment, etc.
A non-refundable registration fee is also due upon enrollment and annually after that. The price includes limited insurance coverage while your children are at the centre.
